Allen & Foxworthy Pick Up Double Awards at SCAFFEX

We are ecstatic to receive 2 Scaffolding Excellence Awards at last night’s Scaffex event in Manchester!

The company was nominated for Scaffolding Project of the Year and Scaffold Design of the Year for the Blenheim Palace Roof Restoration Project.

We went into the event with the hope of the team being recognised for its work on the country’s popular landmark destinations, but were absolutely shell shocked to be crowned winner.

MD Paul Allen said “We couldn’t believe when we were announced as the winner of Scaffold Design of the Year. It was amazing to celebrate this achievement with the Designer himself, Chris Birch.

“To then be announced a few minutes later as winner of the Project of the Year also – the biggest accolade there is for our industry – was truly amazing. And emotional! I think you will see this on the video we will produce of the event. This award is for everyone involved in the business. I’m so lucky to have a great team.”

It was quite fitting that Allen & Foxworthy were presented with both awards by member of the Royal family, Mike Tindall. Awarding A+F with the trophy he quipped “It seem a bit of a fix that I”m giving this away…it’s the ones with the Royal Warrant, it’s Allen & Foxworthy.
