Allen & Foxworthy Wins Another Industry Award for Blenheim Palace

At a black tie glitzy event in London’s Park Lane Hilton, Allen & Foxworthy added another trophy for the cabinet. This time it was the CN Specialist Awards’ Project of the Year (£1.5m – £3m).

Unlike the previous awards A+F have won for this particular project this category was stacked with 11 runners all ranging from Building Contractors, Civil Engineers, Interior Contractors as well as fellow scaffolding company and NASC member, M R Scaffolding Services Ltd.

The Construction News Specialists Awards recognise the outstanding achievements of specialist contractors, suppliers and project teams that are setting new standards across the industry. This year’s finalists demonstrated exceptional innovation, technical excellence and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes across the built environment.

Following an extensive judging process conducted by an independent panel of more than 100 industry experts the event brought together leading organisations and professionals from across the specialist construction sector to celebrate excellence and recognise those making a significant impact on the industry.

Upon collecting the award, Allen & Foxworthy General Manager David Anderson stated: “Winning this award is the icing on a cake for what has been an incredible 12 months for the company. It’s our third award for the work we did on Blenheim Palace.

“Special mention should be given to the brilliant scaffolders who worked on this site but particularly to the contracts manager Ian Bird who has been the glue on this one. He deserves a lot of credit for these wins.”

Construction News editor Colin Marrs said: “Every entry pored over by our judges this year showed how much rides on the specialist contractor getting it right. The standard was exceptionally high, and the winners distinguished themselves through genuine expertise, sharp problem-solving and a willingness to push beyond the obvious solution.

“It is specialist contractors who turn ambitious designs into buildings that stand up, work properly and last. Congratulations to everyone shortlisted: this is recognition well earned.”

Allen & Foxworthy Hoist provider Southern Hoist Services also won Best Equipment Supplier at the event.
