Meet the Team
At Allen & Foxworthy, we believe that great projects begin with great people. Our exceptional team combines decades of industry experience with a commitment to exceptional service, safety, and workmanship. Here are some of the key team members who are here to serve.
Did you know that the majority of the management team and scaffolding operative teams have been with the company for more than 10 years?
Paul Allen, Managing Director
Paul brings decades of experience within the scaffolding and access sector, leading Allen & Foxworthy with a strong focus on quality, safety and client relationships. Known for his practical approach and extensive industry knowledge, Paul has played a key role in delivering complex access solutions across commercial, industrial and heritage projects throughout the South West.
Paul loves spending time with his wife Jayne at their caravan in Devon and has also been known to visit far more exotic places such as Malaysia and Thailand. His favourite drink is Bacardi and he’s probably buying.
David Anderson, General Manager
David has been with the business 20+ years and is widely respected within the scaffolding industry for his technical expertise and commitment to high standards. With extensive experience in temporary works, access planning and project delivery, he works closely with clients and site teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.
David is originally from Glasgow and is a staunch Rangers FC fan. He lives in South Wales with his soon to be wife and their 2 children.
Iain McNab, Commercial Manager
Iain is another 20+ year member of the team. He has a strong background in scaffolding operations and project management, helping oversee the successful delivery of a wide range of contracts. His organised and hands-on approach ensures projects run smoothly from planning through to completion, with a clear focus on safety, communication and customer satisfaction.
Iain can usually be found with his trusted furry pal, Teddy by his side or under his desk.
Andrew Foxworthy, Partner
Andrew is predominantly site based and acts as problem solver, inspector, and additional works for the company. Andrew has a penchant for adventure holidays and enjoys cooking up a storm.
Sophie Allen, Director
Sophie keeps the office running whilst the scaffolders debate over whose tape measure is missing! From organising jobs and answering calls to keeping the paperwork under control – Sophie really is the backbone of the office.
Working in a male-dominated industry means she is well versed in banter and gives it as good as she gets. Efficient and organised and always up for a laugh, Sophie is key to the business.
Ian Bird, Contracts Manager
‘Birdy’ as he is affectionately known plays a vital important role between the scaffolding team and the senior management. Birdy has the respect of everyone within the company after being in the company for 2 decades. His son, Dean has followed in his Father’s footsteps and they are one of many father and son scaffolders within the business.
Ian is a long suffering Manchester United fan but is glad things (at the time of writing) seemed to have turned the corner with Michael Carrick in charge!
Devon Attwood, Transport Manager
TThe woman behind the vehicle planning, logistics, and organised chaos at Allen & Foxworthy Ltd. Devon is Transport Manager so she keeps the scaffolders moving and the vehicles safe and compliant. A problem solver, Devon is calm under pressure but enjoys a laugh with the team. She plays a huge part in keeping the company vehicles running smoothly.
Teddy & Maggie
In every office there’s always those who need more attention and get upset when you don’t show them affection…or you steal their favourite toy! Teddy the German Shepherd and Maggie the Staff are always in the office and provide a nice calming atmosphere. Until the phone rings or the door goes that is…
